Mumford & Sons have collaborated with teen singer Birdy on their first new song since their huge debut album 'Sigh No More'.
The band have recorded 'Learn Me Right' with Birdy, who made her name covering songs by The xx and Cherry Ghost. The song will feature on the soundtrack to Brave, the new film from animation giants Pixar.
Speaking about 'Learn Me Right', Marcus Mumford said: "It's quite fun doing a song for a movie rather than for an album.
"We liked the idea of having an orchestra in the background and having a girl like Birdy sing - it's been quite liberating."
Whilst Birdy added: "I love it because it tells a story. Although it has a lot of emotion, it's also very upbeat and you want to dance to it, which is why it works so well."
Brave hits cinemas on June 19, 2012.
