UK fans of the Eurovision Song Contest have urged tGreat Britain to pull out of next year's event after Engelbert Humperdink suffered a humiliating defeat in Azerbaijan at this weekend's event.
Engelbert Humperdinck finished second from bottom in Baku, polling just twelve votes. Only Norway secured less votes, finishing in last place.
This latest loss has seen UK fans finally lose patience with the competition and the lacklustre contestants entered by the BBC.
Taking to Twitter over the course of the night, fans said things such as: “Enough is enough. The BBC must have better things to spend its money on.” The traditional cry of 'political voting' amongst the Balkan states also reared its head with TV's Philip Schofield claiming that 'even Robbie Williams' couldn't win Eurovision for the UK.
Sweden took home the Eurovision crown at the weekend, meaning next year's contest will be held in Stockholm.
