Bruce Springsteen thrilled his fans at a Dutch festival on Monday (May28) by inviting the folk stars Mumford & Sons onto the stage with him.

The Boss was headlining the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, performing a set of 23 songs, all from his greatest hits, which included ‘Dancing In The Dark’ and ‘Born To Run’. As the gig came to a finale, Grammy Award winning folk stars Mumford & Sons joined him on stage to play the track ‘Hungry Heart’.

The special encore, involving the band saw frontman Marcus mumford shaking a tambourine, wrapping his arms around Springsteen as the pair shared the mic for the song.

This is not the first time Bruce Springsteen has reeled in special stars to help him on stage, pulling big connections for the SXSW show earlier this year, including Tom Morello, Arcade Fire and The Low Anthem.
