Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are working on new material together, it has been revealed.

With Sheeran being a huge star in the UK and Swift one of the biggest solo stars in the world, it is easy to see where the benefits lie for both parties. It is reported that the duo have been holed up in a Los Angeles studio with the plan of releasing their work on Swift's next album.

“Ed and Taylor have been in the studio in LA a lot over the past few weeks working on new material," a source told The Sun. 

“She’s into her British music and became a massive fan of Ed before asking to work with him recently. There is a mutual affection between the pair.

Speaking about the fortune Sheeran could be sitting on, the source adds: “It’s still to be officially decided how the material will be released but just a single credit on her album will be worth big money.

“Taylor’s country sound is massive around the world.”
