Gary Barlow has promised that this weekend's Royal Jubilee concert will be a 'massive' event.

Barlow has helped arrange a huge line-up, including Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Jessie J, to perform outside Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 4th.

Speaking to Chris Moyles on Radio 1 this morning, Barlow said: "The stage is up now [at Buckingham Palace], the seating is up, it's massive.

Adding: "From today you will hear music coming from the stage because most of the acts are rehearsing."

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Barlow will perform alongside Cheryl Cole on the day.

"There are already huge names appearing on the bill but Cheryl is the cherry on top," a source tells The Mirror.

"She is one of the biggest stars in Britain and will ensure young people tune into the concert. She doesn't do many live appearances but when Gary asked her she couldn't turn him or the Queen down."

Continuing: "She is promising a spectacular performance and I am sure the Princes will all be happy she is on the bill."

Other stars confirmed for the Royal Jubilee concert include Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran.
