Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he has been booked to perform at the closing ceremony of this year's Olympic Games.
The former Beatles icon will close the Summer Games in London, confirming the news in a radio interview.
"I've been booked," he told his host in a radio interview adding he would be "closing the opening".
McCartney was also part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations last night (June 4) performing on a star studded bill that also included Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Gary Barlow, Shirley Bassey and Jessie J.
A host of huge concerts are being held in conjunction with the Olympics including headline performances from Blur and Duran Duran.
