Fans of Bee Gees star Robin Gibb are to their final respects to the tragic star tomorrow (8 June, 2012) when his coffin is carried on a horse-drawn carriage through his hometown of Thame, in Oxfordshire.
The seventies star, who died last month due to kidney failure after a long-running battle with cancer and pneumonia, will make his final journey in a glass-sided carriage to St.Mary's Church, close to where he lived for many years.
“At his wish, he will say a final goodbye to fans and his home town of Thame, Oxon, this Friday prior to the funeral," say his family in a statement.
Gibb's coffin will leave Priests End at 1:30pm and travel down the High Stret to the town hall before returning to St Mary's Church. His track 'I Started A Joke' will be played at the funeral, as well as his Titanic Requiem, which was revealed only weeks before his death.
