Muse have announced details of a huge European tour today, including five UK dates, as well as confirming the release date of their new album 'The 2nd Law'.
The Devon trio will release 'The 2nd Law' on September 27th and will head out on a tour across Europe shortly afterward to launch the album in style.
Five UK arena dates are involved in the tour, including shows in Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Muse previewed 'The 2nd Law' with an album trailer released yesterday, suggesting the band are moving in a dubstep direction.
Tickets for Muse's European tour go onsale next Thursday (June 14) at 10am. As of today the band has launched an exclusive ticket pre-sale for muse.mu members. This pre-sale is designed to provide fans with the fairest and first access to tickets. It takes the form of an application process, closing at 6pm on Sunday 10th June, after which tickets will be allocated at random. General sale is from 10am on Thursday 14 June.
