Bloc Party have announced details of a UK tour this October.

The band, who will release new album 'Four' in August, will play seven shows including gigs in Leeds, Newcastle and Bristol.

Kicking off in Newcastle on October 12th, Bloc Party will then play dates in Leeds, Birmingham, Southampton Bristol and Manchester before ending the short jaunt in Cambridge on October 20th.

Bloc Party will also be playing three tiny gigs this week, their first shows as a band since going on hiatus in 2009.
