Los Angeles County prosecutors are currently reviewing the alleged attack by Justin Bieber against a photographer - and are considering whether to file charges against the 'Boyfriend' singer.
The LA County district attorney’s office received the case on 19 June, and will determine whether criminal charges will be filed against the 18-year-old singer. It is unknown how long the decision will take.
The LA County Sheriff’s deputies apparently tried to reach Justin for comment, but he was unavailable. He has so far not made any kind of statement about the case.
The altercation took place at Calabasas, a shopping mall in California, last month. The photographer was taking photos of Justin Bieber and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, when Justin allegedly hit him.
The photographer called the police, but the two young stars had already left by the time they arrived. He complained that he had been hurt and was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released, officials said.
