Details of the eagerly-awaited second album from Irish trio Two Door Cinema Club have been revealed - with a tracklisting, artwork, release date and teaser video revealed.
Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird and Sam Halliday will release 'Beacon' on 3 September, 2012 on Kitsune. The album was recorded in LA with Jacknife Lee - famous for his work with Bloc Party, U2 and REM).
"Beacon is a much more intimate record than our first, but at the same time, it's much bigger and more inclusive," says Alex of the band. "Trying to find that balance has been our goal for a long time and this record takes us one step closer to the band we've dreamt of becoming."
"Working with Jacknife Lee was a joy and a pleasure. He shared our goals and played a huge part in putting the pieces together in the right way. This is an exciting time for us and we can't wait to share the songs with everyone."

A video has also been released, mixing shots of the band performing live and in the studio along with new, instrumental music from the band - mixing Two Door Cinema Club's trademark guitar energy with a more electronic sound.
