Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill is today celebrating the birth of his first child.

According to US Weekly, Followill's wife, Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge, gave birth to the baby girl at Nashville's Vanderbilt University on Thursday morning (June 21).

The pair wed in May 2011 and spoke about their happiness at becoming pregnant earlier this year, saying: 'We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together.'

'We can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family.'

Kings Of Leon are currently on hiatus ahead of their next studio album. Fellow band member Jarred recently got engaged to his girlfriend Martha Patterson.
