An X Factor contestant who failed to make it past the audition stage of the show turned violent following her performance in Cardiff yesterday, calling the judges 'c*nts' and punching a producer.
Zoe Alexander, who earns her living as a Pink! impersonator, did not impress judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa and was not put through to the next stage of the show following her audition.
Clearly not happy with the result, Zoe slammed the panel for what she perceived to be their mistake, calling the panel 'c*nts' before storming off stage and punching a producer waiting in the wings.
“I lost it and said they were a bunch of c***s. " Zoe said when speaking to The Mirror. Adding: "I want to apologise to the judges and to the audience – but they set me up to humiliate me.”
A member of the audience also spoke to the paper, saying: “I’ve never seen a reaction like it on the show. She threw the mic and her language was bad enough but she struck out at cameras and the producer.”
The producer was reportedly given an ice pack for her face following the incident.
