Randy Blythe arrested in Czechoslovakia over 2010 gig incident that left fan dead

Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has reportedly been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the Czech Republic.

The singer in the metal band was taken in by local police ahead of Lamb Of God's show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Prague yesterday (June 28) forcing the band to cancel their show.

It is believed that Blythe's charges date back to 2010 when Lamb Of God performed in Prague and a fan got on stage with the band, leading to a scuffle. The fan later died, with police believing that the death was caused by injuries sustained during the fight at the Club Abaton venue.

Lamb Of God have started a campaign to 'FreeRandyBlythe' on Twitter whilst a lawyer acting for the band stated that he believed the charges to be 'wrongful' and adding that: "lawyers are dealing with it, and we expect him to be fully exonerated."

A Prague police spokesperson confirmed Blythe's arrest, saying: We have arrested the singer and charged him with the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of the fan.".

  • Kelly Osbourne: The rock offsrping was arrested back in 2009 for slapping woman in a nightclub in Soho. Witnesses claim she slapped a gossip columnist, after she said that Kelly's then-fiance, Luke Worrall, was stupid. The gossip writer was said to have laughed at Worrall for not knowing what an earthquake was.

  • Adam Lambert: American Idol star and potential Queen frontman, Adam Lambert, was arrested in 2011 after taking to the streets of Helsinki to fight with his boyfriend. The argument started in a bar and ended up on the streets of Finland, where Lambert was allegedly aggressive with the locals, who were trying to help. Both Lambert and his boyfriend were taken to custody.

  • Chris Brown: The 'Turn Up The Music' star was charged with attacking his then-girlfriend, Rihanna en route to the Grammy Awards in 2009. It is alleged that the couple were arguing in their car, which Rihanna tried to escape before the violence escalated. The 'We Found Love' singer has recently announced that she has forgiven her ex for the attack and the pair duetted on a remix of her track 'Birthday Cake'.

  • Jim Morrison: The Doors' frontman was never one to shy away from acts of violence. The singer chalked up five warrants for misdemeanour charges for indecent exposure, two counts of open public profanity and one of public drunkenness. His most infamous actions on stage were described as "Lewd and lascivious behavior in public by exposing his private parts and by simulating masturbation and oral copulation."

  • Ronnie Wood: Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood was released on bail after being arrested for domestic assault in 2009. All the band members were known for their raucous private life, however this charge was against his then-girlfriend, twenty year old bar maid, Ekaterina Ivanova.

  • Mick Jagger: Stones frontman Mick Jagger was arrested in 1972, during the bands hey day. Arrested for assault and obstructing justice after a fight with a photographer. Jagger pleaded guilty but they the charges were still dropped and Jagger and his friends involved were released.

  • George Michael: The former Wham! Frontman was arrested in 2010 after he crashed his Range Rover into a branch of Snappy Snaps near Hampstead in London. The singer was said to be under the influence of drink and drugs at the time. The performer has had many brushes with the law, including his infamous 'lewd act in a public toilet in California.
