Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has reportedly been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the Czech Republic.
The singer in the metal band was taken in by local police ahead of Lamb Of God's show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Prague yesterday (June 28) forcing the band to cancel their show.
It is believed that Blythe's charges date back to 2010 when Lamb Of God performed in Prague and a fan got on stage with the band, leading to a scuffle. The fan later died, with police believing that the death was caused by injuries sustained during the fight at the Club Abaton venue.
Lamb Of God have started a campaign to 'FreeRandyBlythe' on Twitter whilst a lawyer acting for the band stated that he believed the charges to be 'wrongful' and adding that: "lawyers are dealing with it, and we expect him to be fully exonerated."
A Prague police spokesperson confirmed Blythe's arrest, saying: We have arrested the singer and charged him with the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of the fan.".
