Kylie Minogue has revealed she considers Madonna the world's most talented pop megastar, following recent criticism of the star's cheerleader outfits on her MDNA tour.
The Australian pop singer appeared on US chat show Watch What Happens Live, and was immediately asked who she considered the most talented star.
"Ooooh," said Kylie in surprise. "You’ve gone straight for the jugular!"
She then answered with: "I’m gonna go with, just for hanging in there and still doing what she does, I’m gonna go with Madonna."
Kylie Minogue appeared on Joan Rivers' US TV show Fashion Police earlier this month, and when shown a photo of Madonna in her cheerleader outfit responded: "No, just no."
During the Watch What Happens interview she also discussed turning down the single 'Toxic', which was eventually a worldwide hit for Britney Spears.
"I don’t know why [I turned it down],” Kylie said. "Stupidity? Actually, the same thing happened with 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head', where it was offered to someone else… Hey, Britney did a fantastic job. Maybe it wouldn’t have been the same with me."
