Six of Alex James’ cheeses have been withdrawn from sale at supermarket ASDA.
The high street supermarket currently only has three on sale out of the nine that were originally available. The withdrawn flavours include cheddar with salad cream, ketchup, tomato and tikka masala, with some of the still available flavours including sweet chilli and spring onion.
A spokesman for ASDA told the Daily Star: “Clearly some of them were ahead of their time.”
The Blur bassist has said that he is currently working on another new flavour which he thinks is sure to be a “real crowd pleaser.”
Blur recently premiered two new singles from a London rooftop.
