Gotye and his huge hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know' are currently number one in a poll set up by Gigwise to discover the essential Song Of The Summer 2012.

The track has hundreds of millions o YouTube views, has been covered on Glee and basically claiming squatters rights on the music charts but still people love the track so it is little susprise that it's the song we're reaching for when the sun comes out.

Not far behind Gotye in our poll are tracks from Lana Del Rey, Muse and The Gaslight Anthem which, if nothing else, shows we've not exactly had the hottest weather ever in recent weeks perhaps.
