Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood has won the awards for Best Specialist Programme and Best Feature at this year's Arquiva Commercial Radio Awards in London.

The rocker turned radio DJ repeated his 2011 success by taking home two awards from the annual radio awards, which took place in London last night (4 July, 2012).

Absolute Radio was also named Station Of The Year while Danny Wallace of XFM won Presenter Of The Year. Adele was award the prize for being the most played artists on commercial radio - which had been previously won by Take That for four consecutive years and Jessie J was named Best Breakthrough.

In May this year, Ronnie Wood revealed he was 'keeping October/November' of this year free, leading to widespread speculation that the Rolling Stones were set to announce a tour. He also strongly denied that Rolling Stones were working on any new material.
