The rapper stars as US President JFK alongside Del Rey’s Jackie O in her new video for ‘National Anthem’, but has confessed to carrying a torch for the singer long before then. 

 

After calling her his “dream girl” to The Juice in April, Rocky recently told DJ Drama: “I used to fake have a little crush on her before I met her. I wanted to always bone her and stuff like that.”

 

He also said that it had taken the two a while to manage to work with each other, adding: “She heard I wanted to work with her and she always used to say, 'I want to work with him too,' but it never worked. Probably a month ago, she was like, 'I wrote this video treatment'.”

 

Del Rey and Rocky duetted on “My B*tch” last month, which was pulled from The Kickdrums’ mixtape amidst rumours that Rocky wanted it for his own album.
