Randy Blythe, the Lamb Of God frontman who is currently locked up in a Czech prison on a manslaughter charge, has been handed a lifeline in his case.
The criminal charges date back to an incident in Prague in 2010 in which a fan was injured at a Lamb Of God concert and later died of his injuries. Czech police claim that Blythe is responsible for the death and arrested him when the group returned to Prague in June.
However, a video to Youtube could clear Blythe of his alleged crime. The video, which you can see below, reportedly shows the deceased attempting to climb onto the stage three times. The third time he is clearly thrown to the floor by the venue's security guard.
This, claims Lamb Of God manager Larry Mazer, is proof of Blythe's innocence.
"I got sent this video, which clearly shows a security guy sitting at the edge of the stage," Mazer told Rolling Stone. "How does the prosecution in the Czech Republic do an investigation of this, charge Randy Blythe with manslaughter, when this video shows a security guy throwing the guy onto the floor?"
Larry Mazer previously rallied against the continued imprisonment of Blythe, despite having paid a bail of over $100,000.
