Twin Shadow star George Lewis JR continues the motorbike-based storyline seen in 'Five Seconds' in his new video, 'Patient'. Watch the video below.
The video is again based on his own novel, and features dancing biker girls in a seedy bar setting. The track is the second single to be lifted from Twin Shadow's new album 'Confess' which is released this week - and comes highly recommended.
Speaking of his plans for a story-driven collection of videos from the album, Lewis JR spoke to Gigwise recently, saying that including a narrative in music videos was harder than it looked.
"I wrote a novel about a boy who grows up in a world that has ended and started up again in a much more modern way," he said, speaking of the plot. "This boy starts riding motorbikes and the novel tells the story of his rise to power. Anyway, I didn’t write the story for the music video but we thought ’why not pull images from that story for music videos’?
"It’s really hard to get a great deal of story telling in three and a half minutes. It’s also hard to make videos in general. The ’Five Seconds’ video looks a lot more expensive than it was. A lot of people did us favours."
