This weekend's Latitude festival is set to be one of the summer's less mud-splattered events, with a mixture of light rain and sunshine predicted for the Suffolk event.
Weather forecasts currently predict rain and sunny spells at the Southwold festival this weekend, but festival goers have been assured that the area's micro-climate will provide a dry, warm weekend event. Early forecasts this week predicted heavy rain and lightning at the festival.
"#MudUpdate - We've had lots of sun today & the ground's sandy, so please DO NOT WORRY," the organisers tweeted. They later revealed the ground had experienced 'light showers' but shared a photo of the sun-drenched entrance to the festival.
Paul Weller, Elbow and Bon Iver are headlining at this weekend's event, with Alabama Shakes, Rufus Wainwright, Twin Shadow and many more performing at the festival - which mixes music with art, poetry and theatre.
Summer events in the UK this year have been hugely affected by the terrible summer - with many events cancelled due to torrential rain and terrible conditions across the UK.
