Justin Bieber recorded deuts with both Taylor Swift and Kanye West for his current 'Believe' album - but neither were able to be included on the finished record.
In an interview with MTV News, manager Scooter Braun opened up about some of Bieber’s celebrity collaborations.
Speaking about the teen star’s duet with Taylor Swift, Braun said: “It didn't go on Believe, because there's another record they want to work on. So, it just didn't make sense at this time, and the song they did just didn't make sense on this album.”
The song had been much anticipated, with even Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez speaking out and calling the track ‘beautiful.’
Another collaboration that didn’t make it onto the ‘Believe’ record was with Kanye West, a duet that Braun said “didn’t make sense at this time.”
Finally, Braun added that Bieber had been interested in working with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
Braun said: “We talked with Adam Levine about doing stuff. And he wanted to, but with everything else, we could just never get the studio time in together.”
Tickets for Justin Bieber’s 2013 UK tour are currently on sale.
