Fans of Katy Perry and her endlessly exciting underwear will be sad to learn that the days of spinning bras are over - having been ordered to stop wearing battery powered bras due to injury fears.
Perry is famed for wearing everything from fruit to cats and many rotating contraptions on her top half whilst performing. It is the moving devices which have been outlawed however, as Katy herself explains;
“I keep being told the insurers are worried I will injure my neck," she told The Sun.
Adding: “My hair got caught in the wheels of my spinning peppermint bra and began to coil around and around.
“I’m forced to just go with it so, by the end of the song, it looked quite like I was licking my own t**. What a girl does for her art. I seriously doubt it could be lethal but they want a new bra designed that will not allow hair to be caught up.
Meanwhile, Perry's 3D Movie got off to a less than spectacular start at the US box office last weekend.
