Swedish House Mafia have promised that their final live performance today will be free from gimmicks and is set to be a straight up party.
The trio of producers, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, will retire the Swedish House Mafia project after their performance at Milton Keynes Bowl in front of 65,000 people today. (July 14).
Speaking to The Sun, Axwell promised that the group were not planning anything out of the ordinary for their last show.
“If I went to see Coldplay I wouldn’t want them to dress up as clowns and blow themselves up. I’d want to go and see them play their songs," he said.
Adding: “We hate over-promising and under-delivering – so we are going to keep our big surprise for on the night.”
Example, Calvin Harris and Pete Tong will support Swedish House Mafia in Milton Keynes tonight where fans will be hoping for a better night than at an Irish show last weekend where nine people were stabbed.
