Lady Gaga showed her support for rising rapper Kendrick Lamar during his appearance at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago yesterday.
Gaga appeared at the Blue Stage in Chicago's Union Park to watch Lamar, who was performing a solo set before headline act Vampire Weekend.
Twitter lit up at the appearance of a bona-fide A-List popstar at the indie festival with Pitchfork editor Rya Schreiber Tweeting: "WTF Lady Gaga is at Blue Stage for Kendrick!"
Gaga herself had been busy showing her feelings for Lamar via Twitter, posting a series of compliments to the rapper for his new track 'Swimming Pool (The Drank)'. Many of the Tweets have since been removed though her most recent Tweet is a RT of Lamar's which reads: "The Power is really in my hair n*gga!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha"
You can see a picture of Gaga standing side of stage watching Kendrick Lamar above. It is rumoured that she will now appear on his forthcoming major label debut, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city', due in October.
