It has been confirmed that Radiohead's Thom York features on dance producer Flying Lotus' new album.
'Until the Quiet Comes' is set for release on October 1st, and one of the tracks will be a collaboration with Yorke.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, the producer said: "I definitely respect what he's up to, but the biggest surprise to me in getting to know him is that he's a funny guy. He's the jokey one." We don't know what that says about the other members of Radiohead, but still nice to know...
Yorke and Lotus have worked together in the past, with the Brit providing vocals on track '..And the World Laughs With You." Scroll down to listen.
Flying Lotus (real name Steve Ellison) went on to say that he took a more mature approach to this album; "I feel like I had this maximalist mentality going into the last one, but with this one now I feel like I don't have a problem holding back on some moments so bigger moments can shine through."
Radiohead are set to return to touring this Autumn after the tragic stage collapse incident that killed crew member Schott Johnson. The band's first show is in Manchester on October 6th.
Flying Lotus embarks on a European tour in the same month, and the five UK dates start in Liverpool on on October 23rd.
