A quarter of the Arctic Monkeys is set to give up on his rock and roll lifestyle and settle down, having recently announced his engagement to his girlfriend.
Cook has been dating glamour model Katie Downes since the pair met at a party in Liverpool in 2006. The model revealed the engagement to The Sun newspaper, saying simply: "I'm so made up - excited and happy."
Fans of the band will be hoping that Cook's upcoming nuptuals won't interfere with recording sessions for the bands forthcoming fifth album. They have previously revealed the band will have a heavier sound than previous releases - but also be more upbeat.
