George Michael has revealed he was planning to record a duet with Amy Winehouse before her untimely death in 2011, speaking of his 'awe' for the tragic Camden star.
Following a week discussing his 2011 illness, recently revealing how he woke from a coma with a Westcountry accent, Michael has now spoken of his unfulfilled plans to record with Amy Winehouse - revealing he wrote a track he hoped to record with the star.
"There is one (track) I wrote, I was hoping to sing with Amy Winehouse," he says in an interview with Magic Radio. "I was so in awe of her talent, bless her heart, I never got to offer it as a duet."
Earlier this week, George Michael teamed up with another London star for his new single, 'White Light'. He premiered the video on Tuesday, 17 July, 2012 - which features a cameo from supermodel Kate Moss.
