Girls Aloud will mark their 10th anniversary with a performance at this year's Royal Variety Show, it has been claimed today.
The group, who formed on reality TV show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 are planning to reunite to celebrate their decade in the business later this year and a performance at the Royal Albert Hall for this year's Variety show is seen as the perfect comeback for the group.
"Being asked to perform the Royal Variety Show is massive for the band," a source told the Daily Star "So it's a major scoop for the girls' comeback to be added to the bill."
Tabloid rumours also suggest that a 75 minute ITV1 documentary will be made about Cheryl, Nicole, Nadine, Sarah and Kimberley'ss reunion.
It was previously reported that Girls Aloud will record the official single for this year's Children In Need.
Meanwhile, in other girl group reformation news, the original Sugababes announced their return as Mutya Keisha Siobhan this week.
