Doctors have reportedly decided to remove Usher's stepson from his life support machine following a jet ski accident earlier this month.

Kyle Glover, 11, was declared brain dead following the accident, in which a family friend lost control of his jet ski and collided with Glover.

TMZ reports that doctors took the decision after deciding that the injuries Glover suffered were too severe to recover from.

Usher's ex-wife, and Glover's Mother, Tameka Foster is reported to have agreed to the decision and is"understandably devastated."

Kyle Glover was struck by the jet-ski while being pulled on an inner tube in a lake in Georgia with a female friend. A 38-year-old man is said to have been riding the vehicle which hit Glover. The youngster was said to have been unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to an Atlanta hospital, according to US reports.

A girl with Glover suffered minor injuries, including a broken arm and head wound.
