Queen's 1979 No.1 single 'Don't Stop Me Know' has been named the nation's favourite exercise tune, in a new poll by Tesco Phone Shop.
The iconic rock anthem was named top in a new poll to coincide with the launch of new iT7 wireless headphones.
The Queen track took 15% of the votes, narrowly ahead of Survivor's 'Eye Of The Tiger', which placed second with 14% of the votes. Tina Turner polled third with 8%. Other highly placed tracks in the poll included 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by Scissor Sisters, 'Firework' by Katy Perry and Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way'.
"This research backs up exactly how I used music when training," says Ian Taylor - former Aston Villa footballer and designer of the new headphones. "It definitely helped my stamina, improved my concentration and boosted my performance."
The top ten exercise tracks are as follows:
1. Queen 'Don't Stop Me Now'
2. Survivor 'Eye of the Tiger'
