Festival organisers hoping to arrange a semi-Oasis reunion have been told that Noel and Liam Gallagher will never perform at an event on the same day.
Both of the brothers are active this Summer, with Beady Eye playing some festivals and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds appearing across numerous live music events.
However, Noel has stated that there will never be a day where you can see both bands at the same festival: "I don't think either camp would allow it. What happens if we’re on the same bill? People start asking if we’re reforming, that's what. Or they’ll ask if we’re going to get on stage together and sing Digsy's fucking Dinner."
Speaking to The Sun, he added: "I don’t need that and I doubt he does either. I’d rather avoid it all together, thank you."
Liam and Noel most recently clashed when Liam mocked his brother for touring the USA with Snow Patrol.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Liam Gallagher will perform the Oasis classic 'Wonderwall' at the Olympic Games closing ceremony this Summer.
