Arctic Monkeys are said to be one of the surprise bands performing at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games tomorrow in London. The band were spotted at the dress rehearsals on Wednesday night.

Despite dirctor Danny Boyle's attempts to keep things under wraps, some secret-phobic people inside the Olympic stadium Tweeted the news that Alex Turner and co. were rehearsing a performance ahead of tomorrow's big ceremony.

One Argentinian Tweeter claimed the band were performing a cover of The Beatles 'Come Together', though that has yet to be verified. They also posted the picture you can see in this article.

Underworld, who have provided much of the music for the £27m opening ceremony yesterday said they hope to 'make the world a better place' with the spectacular event.

Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys Jamie Cook recently got engaged to his glamour model girlfriend, Katie.
