Tame Impala reveal new song 'Elephant' - listen

Tame Impala have shared a new song called 'Elephant' today, the second track we've heard from the Aussie's new album 'Lonerism'.

Elephant is a typically spaced out jam from the world's premier pysch band right now. As one keen eared listener put it on Twitter, Elephant sounds a lot 'like The Beatles covering Deep Purple.'

'Apocalypse Dreams' was the first song to be released from the Australian band's forthcoming second LP, you can hear that one here.

Lonerism will be released in October and is the follow up to 2010's critically acclaimed 'Innerspeaker'. Tame Impala will head out on a UK tour around the time of the release of 'Lonerism', appearing at the venues below:

London - Brixton Academy - Oct 30
Manchester - Ritz - Nov 1
Sheffield - Leadmill - 2
Glasgow - ABC - 3

Check out 'Elephant' below, now.
