Mitch Winehouse, dad of tragic Camden star Amy has said he would consider Lady Gaga for a movie role based on his daughter's life - but only if she paid him £10million for the priviledge.

In a new interview, Mr Winehouse said that he wasn’t keen on the ‘Poker Face’ star playing his daughter, despite her alleged interest in the role.

"I don't know what her English accent is like but it's not just an English accent she would have to perfect - it's an English-Cockney-Jewish accent so she better start practising now," he tells The Daily Star. "But she would be great."

Mitch Winehouse previously said that a biopic of Amy’s life wouldn’t be made as he would never release the music needed for the film.

Mitch Winehouse will be performing this October in a concert at the Albert Hall in aid of The Amy Winehouse Foundation.
