Madonna cmae under fire from her own fans at a gig in Paris last night, when fans began booing the star, demanding their money back and hurling empty bottles at the equally empty stage.

The show was was streamed live on YouTube, but was considerably shorter than recent European shows, including her performance in Hyde Park.

When the show ended early, fans began chanting 'Rembourssez' (French for 'we want our money back'), booing and hurling empty bottles onto the empty stage as crew packed up the show. They also yelled the french word for 'sl*t' at the singer.

Madonna made a special effort with her French fans at the short show, including a performance of 'Je t'aime (Moi Non Plus)' by Serge Gainsbourg in her setlist. Fans shelled out 80 and 280 Euros for tickets to the show, and many felt short changed by the 'Girl Gone Wild' megastar.

Previous MDNA tour controversy has included Madonna baring a breast and bum - plus complaints of poor sound at her Hyde Park show.
