A man attempting to sneak into a Nickelback concert ended up in hospital after he fell down a 40 foot gorge trying to carry out his plan.

22 year old Kevin Beaudette was trying to see Chad Kroeger and co performing at the Performing Arts Centre in Saratoga Springs but drunkenly lost his footing whilst attempting to gain entry to the venue and fell into the Geyser Brook Gorge.

According to Gawker, the man was taken to the Albany Medical Centre but had to be rescued by a fire crew after medical officials were unable to help him escape the hole he had got trapped in. The fire crew had to use a basket to help him out

Beaudette was treated for cuts and bruises and released from hospital with no criminal charges.

Tickets for Nickelback's UK tour this October recently went on sale. It would appear just coughing up is much simpler than trying anything more elaborate.
