El-P has revealed that he declined the opportunity to have his music appear in a movie trailer because the feature film starred Chris Brown.
Labelling Brown a 'woman beater', El-P wrote on Twitter that he had been offered a significant amount of money to lend his song to the unknown movie trailer but, ultimately, couldn't be assosciated with the 'Fortune' singer.
"Got offered good $ to let a film use my music for a trailer. the catch? starring chris brown. woman beater. sigh. no. #notenough$inexistence. (sic)" El-P wrote on Twitter, before swiftly deleting the message.
After deleting his original message, El-P added: "I don't think, ultimately, it really needs to exist beyond real life... and I damn sure don't feel right coming off like I'm amped about myself when I should just be dealing how I deal in private."
El-P was an original member of Company Flow and released the critically acclaimed solo album 'Cancer 4 Cure' earlier this year.
