Professor Green has apologised for the jokes he made on Twitter about the eating disorder Bulimia.
As reported on Gigwise, Green landed himself in hot water after he called the eating disorder 'intelligent', joking that sufferers get to eats lots and stay skinny afterwards.
Clearly sensing an atmosphere around his comments, Green again took to Twitter today (July 30) to say sorry - though some critics may not be too pleased with his attempts at diffusing the situation.
"i'd just like to take this moment to apologise for my insensitive tweets. not jus the bulimia one, all of them. even the really funny ones," Green Tweeted. Adding: "i'll also be sanitising my music."
Attacking his critics, Green continued: "People should really be smart enough to read things and agree / disagree with them. As if I'd actually promote an eating disorder..." Continuing: "I'm stupid for one reason and one reason only, expecting that any majority of my followers would know a Nas lyric when they saw one."
Professor Green last got into trouble on Twitter after Stone Roses fans criticised his place on the support bill for the band's famous Heaton Park gigs earlier this year.
