Cheryl Cole is causing panic in her finance team, with plans for her upcoming solo arena tour said to be rivalling that of US pop megastars Katy Perry and Rihanna.
Cheryl is said to be taking inspiration from Rihanna, Katy Perry and even Jay Z and Kanye West for her first ever solo arena tour, which starts in October 2012.
The Sun newspaper reports Cheryl has some grand plans for the shows - but has been warned by her financial team of spending her budget on special effects and spectacular show pieces.
"Cheryl wants to make her show as amazing as possible and if that means spending a load of cash on it, so be it," says a source to the tabloid.
"If it were a longer tour, she would make money back from ticket sales. But the ideas she’s coming up with at the moment are not going to come cheap."
Cheryl Cole recently premiered the video for her new single, 'Under The Sun'. The highly stylised video saw Cheryl adopt a 50s housewife look.
