Duran Duran: 'We argue all the time - but we love each other'

Following the band's Hyde Park performance on Friday night to coincide with the opening of London 2012, Duran Duran have revealed that fighting in the band keeps them together.

The band, who have enjoyed a 34-year career, reveal that they still fight constantly, but that there is no one else in music they'd rather be working with.

"We argue all the time. But we've learnt. We really value each other, we really love each other and we all still believe," says bassist John Taylor to Bang Showbiz.

"I buy a lot of music but there's nobody I'm really busting to work with particularly - these are the guys I want to work with. And these are the guys I believe can still get the best out of me."

Taylor also reveals that he feels lucky having met his bandmates (Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes) and that the four shared the same goals.

"I've got children who are in their 20s and I've got nephews who are looking for a job and that's when you realise that when you're 18 years old and you know exactly what you want to do and you meet four other guys who really want to the same thing - that's pretty powerful," he added.

Duran Duran performed alongside Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics at Hyde Park on Friday night. See photos of the show below.
