Duran Duran have revealed plans to begin writing their 14th album at the beginning of 2013 - with a release scheduled for 2014.
The album will be the follow-up to the eighties stars' 2010 release All You Need Is Now with the band reportedly working with Mark Ronson on new music. Bassist John Taylor spilled the details, revealing he will be returning to the studio with Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor and Nicki Rhodes next year.
"We are going to get back writing another record at the beginning of next year and we are really looking forward to it," he said in an interview with Bang Showbiz.
"I don't think the new album will be finished by next year but we can always hope. We'd like to have a new album for 2014 because it's what we do."
The band recently revealed that it was the in-band fights that kept them together, but Taylor also said that there were no other men in music he would rather work with.
