Ed Sheeran has revealed that he is performing with Pink Floyd at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The 'A Team' singer had previously hinted that he would appear on stage with a huge name band, leading many to speculate that it could be The Who that Sheeran would appear alongside.
However, speaking on Australian radio, Sheeran stated that he will be singing Wish You Were Here with Pink Floyd.
Speaking to Nova, Sheeran said: "I'm playing the closing ceremony - which I think is kinda cool right?"
Adding: "A lot of people think that I'm doing a song with The Who but I'm not - I'm doing a song with Pink Floyd. I'm doing 'Wish You Were Here'."
Sheeran did clarify that not all remaining members of Pink Floyd would be on stage with him but that drummer Nick Mason was confirmed to appear.
