Jermaine Jackson has called for an end to the ongoing Jackson family saga, saying the warring relations need to pay heed to Michael Jackson's song lyrics.

The family have been involved in a bitter war over the past few weeks over the guardianship of Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince and Blanket - and his financial legacy.

Now, Jermaine has called for an end of the family drama.

"After much soul-searching, it is clearly time for us to live by Michael's words about love not war," writes Jermaine in a statement. "Mistakes have been made and irrational things have been said on both sides in a highly charged emotional environment."

"It is time for us all to draw a line in the sand and move towards peace, co-operation, love and healing."

The Jackson family drama began when Paris Jackson first reported that her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, was 'missing'. It was later reported that Janet Jackson had slapped the teenager - an accusation the singer strongly denies.
