Muse have announced that they have decided to delay the release of their sixth studio album until October 1st, two weeks after the previously advertised release date.
The band have also stated that the first single to be released from the new album will be 'Madness' on August 20th.
Matt Bellamy recently claimed that 'Dubstep is the new rock n roll', adding that the band's new album was inspired heavily by dubstep star Skrillex. 'The 2nd Law' is expected to have a much more electronic sound, as the trailer for the upcoming album featured a strong dubstep sound.
However official Olympic single 'Survival', which will feature on the album, is guitar based.
