'Curtain Call' singer Aiden Grimshaw has revealed he has no talent for the men's 100 metres, saying that he was 'the chubby kid' at school and could only do shotput.

The former X Factor star, who releases his debut album Misty Eye on 20 August 2012, picked shotput as his event of choice while talking to Gigwise during a recent live session.

"If I was going to pick an event for the Olympics i'd pick shotput," Grimshaw told Gigwise. "Whenever there was an sports event in school i'd have to do the shotput because I was the chubby kid. It was my strongest event."

It seems Grimshaw isn't the only music star to be lacking in the sports department, as Two Door Cinema Club have also recently admitted struggling with athletic pursuits. The 'Sleep Alone' band revealed they were once beaten by The Twang in a charity football match.

It could have been worse, at least it wasn't The Script. Watch Aiden Grimshaw discuss his shotput skills below.
