Lily Allen is back in the studio, but the star will no longer release music under her former name, but will instead continue in pop under her married title, Lily Rose Cooper.
The star is recording new music with producer Greg Kurstin - and both have worked on Pink's upcoming new album The Truth About Love and are now recording tracks for Lily's third studio album. It will be her first release as Lily Rose Cooper.
The star revealed in June this year that she had been in the studio with producer Kurstin. She has kept quiet about recording sessions since the announcement, but has now spoken about her slow, but enjoyable progress, on her third studio album.
"It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music," said Lily in a press release to Cover Media. "I'm excited to be heading back into the studio."
Her previous comments on comeback material were even less committal, telling Twitter fans in June: "You will be pleased to know I am currently in the f**king studio with Greg Kurstin," she tweeted. "No big deal really, I'm just throwing s**t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks."
