Justin Young, singer and songwriter of The Vaccines, has revealed his interest in writing songs for artists such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
A long-time adovocate for pop music, Young revealed that while he was yet to write a track for an artist other than himself, he would like to pen tunes for other artists, and named the US pop megastars as his top picks.
"I'd definitely like to write to other artists," Young told Gigwise. "It's hard because I get so many melodies and don't know what to do with them, but i've never taken the emotional element out of songwriting.
"If I was proud of the song and didn't want it, i'd certainly be happy for someone else to sing it."
When asked which pop artists he'd like to hear record his tracks, he named two of the biggest stars on the planet, saying: "I think Rihanna gets a lot of really good songs. Lady Gaga gets good songs as well."
Young recently discussed The Vaccine's new album The Vaccines Come Of Age in an interview with Gigwise, also speaking about the similarities between The Vaccines and Rihanna and his 'hate' for Twitter.nterview with Gigwise.
