Interpol's Paul Banks confirms new solo album details

Interpol frontman Paul Banks has confirmed details of his new solo album 'Banks', to be released this October.

Banks has confirmed the album title and tracklisting as well as sharing the first song off the record, titled 'The Base'.

Pictured above is the 'Banks' album cover, featuring a new photo taken by Paul's girlfriend, Helena Christensen. 'Banks' was recorded with producer Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, Shearwater, Jónsi).

Paul Banks released his first solo album, 'Skyscraper', under the name of Julian Plenti in 2009. 'Banks' will be out via Matador on October 22nd.
